Our exotic solid wood handles are made from what are considered some of the most beautiful woods in the world, Laurel (Cordia alliodora), Frijolillo (Leucaena salvadorensis) and Teak (Tectona grandis). These types of woods are used in cabinetry, architectural details, art pieces, musical instruments, high end boats and construction.

No plywood, MDF, or veneers. Mass produced handles from China are often made from cheap low-grade wood with stains and finishes to make it marketable. These beautiful hard wood handles are produced from the harvesting of tropical timber, the development of forest management and they are established solely for timber production. They are treated in controlled sawmills; the wood is cured and dried in industrial ovens. Each piece is handcrafted and finish with natural stains to preserve the natural beauty of dense exotic tropical hardwood. Another special attribute of our handles is that each piece has a thickness of 1.5 centimeters, this allows them to support the weight of a bag without running the risk of breaking.
