Hello! My name is Lorena, an immigrant mother of two from Nicaragua, and a passionate fiber artist.
My love for crochet, knitting, embroidery, and painting inspired me to open this shop—a space dedicated to providing high-quality and affordable materials for fellow fiber enthusiasts.
My story
My journey began with a deep love for handmade arts. When I searched local stores for materials to create my pieces, I struggled to find anything special or unique. The threads available were always the same, lacking variety and the special touch I envisioned. This frustration sparked the idea to create a store that offers other artisans like myself a diverse range of fibers and products for their creations.
Starting this business also gave me the chance to feel productive again. As a mother, I dedicated myself to my children and home, which limited my ability to continue my career in business administration. This shop allowed me to reconnect with my passion and share it with others.
What began as a small Etsy shop has grown significantly, thanks to the support of my customers. Their trust and encouragement have enabled me to expand my inventory and create my own website. Today, in my shop, you will find a wide range of products for your fiber projects, including:
- Cotton, nylon, wool and acrylic threads.
- Metallic threads.
- DIY project accessories, such as wooden handles for ladies’ bags.
In addition to materials, I also offer my unique handcrafted creations, made with love and attention to detail.
